GOD'S MESSENGER: Richard W. Penniman (Little Richard), who used to earn $10,000 an hour singing rock 'n' roll, now earns whatever the collection plate provides as he preaches and sings gospel music throughout the nation. The teen idol

of the 1950s and '60s appeared at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, N.J., recently and told of converting from a drug-addicted homosexual to a messenger of God. "If God can save Little Richard, he can save anybody," said the star who sold more than 30 million records with such hits as "Tutti Fruiti" and "Good Golly, Miss Molly."
